Assam Baibhav Award Awarded To Ratan Tata

Ratan Tata received Assam’s highest civilian award, the ‘Assam Baibhav,’ on 24 January.

Highlights:

Ratan Tata can’t attend the function personally owing to the Covid-19 crisis. His representative accepted the award during a ceremony in Guwahati.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, said on January 23 that the Assam Baibhav, Assam Saurav, and Assam Gaurav Awards would be conferred for the year 2021.

Professor Dipak Chand Jain, Lovlina Borgohain, Professor Kamalendu Deb Krori, Dr. Lakshmanan S, and Neel Pawan Baruah received the Assam Saurav prize.

Manoj Kumar Basumatary, Munindra Nath Ngatey, Dharanidhar Boro, Hemoprabha Chutia, Dr. Basanta Hazarika, Kaushik Baruah, Khorsing Terang, Akash Jyoti Gogoi, Namita Kalita, Dr. Asif Iqbal, Kalpana Boro, Boby Hazarika, and Bormita Momin received the Assam Gaurav award.

On the occasion of “Asom diwas,” it was declared (Assam Day). The prize for the award is Rs 5 lakh.

Furthermore, the recipient will be eligible for government-funded medical treatment for the rest of his life.

First-Ever Heli Hub In India

Gurugram will host India’s first Heli Hub. The heli-hub is expected to be built in Gurugram, near a metro station and convenient access to industrial locations such as Noida and Bhiwadi.

Gurugram will acquire India’s first heli-hub with comprehensive aviation amenities, according to Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala.

The heli-hub will be the first in India, with all helicopter facilities at one location.

The heli-hub is expected to be built in Gurugram, next to a metro station and convenient access to industrial regions (Noida & Bhiwadi).

The Haryana government has proposed to build the country’s first heli-hub in Gurugram, which will include a heliport, hangars, maintenance, and other aviation-related Services.

This heli-main hub’s function serves as a landing and take-off location for numerous helicopter services in the nation’s capital.

India’s Largest EV Station

Gurgaon now has India’s largest electric vehicle charging station.

Highlights:

On the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway in Gurugram, India’s largest electric vehicle (EV) charging station, with a capacity of 100 charge outlets for four-wheelers, was inaugurated.

Previously, India’s largest EV charging station, with 16 AC and 4 DC charging connections for EVs, was located in Navi Mumbai.

Alektrify Private Limited, a tech-piloting company, created the latest EV charging station.

This EV charging station will not only help the region’s electric vehicle sector, but it will also serve as a model for future major EV charging stations across the country.

This size and scope of the electric vehicle charging stations are uncommon.

It will be critical for the sector to experience true in terms of smooth ‘Certification Compliance’ and ‘Safety Standards.’

PSP-V 2.0: Passport Seva Program

Version 2 of the Passport Seva Program is an expansion of Version 1 of the Passport Seva Program.

It’s a web-based service, established as part of the National E-Government Plan.

The Indian government plans to deploy e-Passports in the near future for citizens renewing or applying for new passports.

The primary goal of e-passports is to increase their security. It will facilitate immigration. It’s a step up from a standard passport.

A chip is included in the E-Passports. The chip contains the holder’s personal information, including biographical information.

Unauthorized data access is prevented as a result of this. National Informatics Centre and IIT Kanpur developed the Software for the E-Passport.

The E-Passports were created in conformity with ICAO guidelines. The International Civil Aviation Organization is known as ICAO.
